In this 5-week course, you will be introduced to specific techniques and tools to lead your students through a digital storytelling experience from start to finish.

We'll begin with deep and compassionate listening, and exploration of why this is so vital for engaging with the world to create positive and purposeful change, as well as to break down unequal paradigms of power that exist in our world.

From there, we'll engage in creating personal narrative digital stories to capture the essence of a powerful life event in a way that engages an audience and delivers a message of deep personal expression.

Throughout this experience, you will develop and hone your own digital storytelling skills, and you will also master the framework so you can use it with your students right away.

This is a hands-on, experiential journey where we will listen to each other, explore important questions about our own humanity and the future of our world, create together and share our digital storytelling products.

This will be a powerful learning experience for any educator passionate about storytelling, service learning, global citizenship, global competencies, civic readiness and tech for good.
